This is a very versatile headlight with good build quality - hence the weight. The red light which I use quite a bit is not as good as the one on my old Nitecore headlight. Both of the white lights on the lenser do not really need to be regularly used on full power as there is ample light. This extends the times between battery recharge significantly. You won't be disappointed.
