    Prager’s teaching is reason based and he means for it to make rational sense.

    Dennis Prager has taught the first five books of the Bible for over forty years! His commentary is so open and inspirational as he explains verse by verse what was written thousands of years ago. It’s as though he has met God and understands him just enough to introduce you to his thoughts and plans for mankind. It’s about the words of God, not the thoughts of man.

    Certainly worth the time

    Yes, it is a "good read." I like the way the author puts the information together, so that it is easily understood. I don't feel like I need a degree of some sort to read and absorb the commentary. I look forward to his future books on the Torah/Bible.

    A Very Informative Book!

    I am not an avid reader, but I find The Rational Bible to be a very easy read and an interesting and informative book. I have read parts of the Bible and found it somewhat difficult to follow or understand. This book helps clear that up. It doesn't try to tell you what the verses mean, but gives you interpretations that you may take literal or form your own. I like that it gives sources that you can check as well. Very well thought out and written. Thank you.

    A must-read for everyone who wants to understand the Bible better

    This is one of the most profound and thought-provoking discussions of the Bible that I have ever read. It really makes the Bible more understandable and gives me insight into the mindset of the people who lived back then. I have also read Prager's book on Exodus and highly recommend it as well. This is one of the 10 best books I have ever read in my life!

    Absolutely wonderful

    Dennis Prager’s commentaries are plain spoken and compelling. I love knowing the context of what I am reading in the Bible. It’s a huge book, but I could not put it down. It’s just lovely, and the large print version is easy to read.
