A calculator, reminder and data bank all in one.
It has real buttons and not a flat panel touch pad. This makes it easier to select the correct digit. Not as cool as a cell phone wrist watch, but comes in handy when you need a calculator, a appointment reminder or to look up a phone number. The Illuminator function is nice, as it lights up without pushing a button. It has many other functions also. Nicer in chrome. Plastic band is hot and uncomfortable, but works until it breaks. I've worn a Casio telememo then calculator-databank since the it was invented, early 1980s, non stop. I bought this as distant travel banger watch as my current databanks are now collectors items and impossible to replace. Pro This model has been in the catalog since 2004, proven design and durability Expected Casio build quality despite changing country of make, over the decades Casio engineering ergonomics, if you've used one before, it has a design feel for all what buttons do and screen layout bigger LCD and characters, easier to see for old eyes despite being just LCD side lighting lights up entire LCD despite coming only from the lower left of screen easy to program without reading manual, but better read manual to know all capabilities keyboard is best design yet, keys are ... Good value with many useful functions.
Good watch with many useful functions with good quality for the price and when all settings are correctly set all functions work as they should. Instructions are generally OK but in some cases can be a bit unclear and rather complicated as to exactly what steps to follow and in what order to obtain the proper setting while trying to see all of the tiny numbers, symbols, etc. on the face of the watch. Some of the characters are much too small for easy identification such as the AM and PM (very small A and P) indications which must be set correctly or the date shown will be a day ahead or behind so it is a must to very carefully read the instructions and follow them exactly, otherwise everything else is pretty user friendly. Replacement for the DB150.
The only available replacement for the DB150 works fine. It lacks an alphabetic keypad, calendar, and timer. Casio recommends that you send in the watch for a battery replacement, and therefore omits instructions to replace the battery. It is easy to mistakenly depress the button to switch between 12- and 24-hour time display. But thank you, Casio, for making this version. ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!
This is a beautiful watch I have the original Casio calculator watch and decided to upgrade to this one because it it has a backlight or illuminator and the original does not I'm actually extremely happy that I made this purchase because the additional features on the swatch are awesome the look and feel of the Swatch it's very stylish it's very comfortable but feel the band through a lot thicker than the original so you can tell the last a lot longer are the buttons the keypad very slick smooth easy press the screen is a bit bigger the very clean easy to read time of day features dates whatever you have set up all the additional features like dual time the databank to store numbers I mean I only speak one language but the watch is capable of reading in 13 languages this is a must have ...
