This particular base unit develops a slight warp in the area where it connects to the carburetor which allows air from the primer bulb to leak. I’ve tried various fixes including gasket sealer and extra gaskets with only minimal success. Replacement of the base is the best solution.

When first installed if I primed more than once it flooded the engine. That didn't last long either. Now instead of too much gas it's back how it was with the old one. At least 10 primes and several pulls. Maybe it's something with my mower, but not real happy.
