    Fast shipping, as described. Good price for a paperback. I only suggest that books be wrapped either in paper or bubble wrap when shipped in a mailing envelope. The shipping causes rubbing on cover and although the envelope was torn in shipment the book was intact.

    One of favorite all time classics.

    The collectors edition is fantastic because it has the extra disc with edited scenes and an in-depth look at the actors and their characters as well as the great movie that is brilliantly written and will touch almost every emotion.

    Oscar-worthy movie and performances

    As someone who lived through the Viet Nam war era, this movie brought back a lot of memories for me, Forrest's steadfast devotion to all of the people he loves is very moving; He's the bedrock for his friends when they need him, and he's an exemplary son, husband and father. The performances of the actors are absolutely stellar and will stay with you for a long time. I highly recommend this movie.

    timeless classic!

    Love this movie!,has some reality,and history with the Vietnam War part that my generation really identifies with. The story of persevering,and overcoming issues in life,and love for family is beautiful!!!!.
