Get this one!
This is the best of a host of videos showing footage from the Tonight Show during the Carson years. What separates this Johnny Carson video from the others is the way it explores Carson's life including influences from childhood, relationship with parents, his marriages, business and charitable dealings, and relationships with Ed and several of today's top comics. Very well done and an outstanding portrait of the man we came of love as host of the tonight show. Narration by Kevin Spacey is excellent. Outtakes also very interesting and entertaining. Much, much more than a collection of footage from the Tonight show. If you want a Johnny Carson/Tonight Show video - this is the place to start.

Get to know the "real" Jonny Carson
I've always been a huge fan of Johnny Carson and grew up watching him - occasionally with my Dad while he was alive. I have owned the Best of Carson for many years and still enjoy watching them occasionally. This set gives the viewer a lot of background about Mr. Carson's very personal life off-camera.
