Not everyone's cup of East India Co. Tea.
Not every one's cup of tea. Very Dark on many levels. It's like Game of Thrones in a Regency Snake Pit. Roughly akin to "The Hateful Eight" ... in Regency England. Somewhat based on real events.[ War of 1812 / Napoleonic War(s) and British Government and East India Co. dealings] combined with Super Natural aspects. Even after the 'Official' end of the Slave Trade there were "great men" doing reprehensible things ... like today. No real hero(s) among the cast of villains - only shades of grey. The fundamental question is "Who will own Nootka Sound ?" .... and through that - control Northern West coast of North America ?

Fantastic Series.
What a fantastic series this is. Can't wait for the next series to see what happens. All the actor's are fantastic in it. Love, love, love it!!

Wow, what a trip!!!
Man, I cannot even begin to describe this show and I just finished watching the whole thing. Yet, I can say it was great and i enjoyed it! It's like reading a history book about the 1800's, while in a semi-drug induced state, and while you are taking a trip on the Disney ride Pirates of the Carribean...all at once. Tom Hardy is awesome, as is really everyone else. Very very well made. Cannot wait for season 2!!

This is such a fantastic series. I really hope the writers and producers make a second season . The cast is very well chosen and really bring the characters to life. I LOVE IT!!

Loved This Show.
This was a great series. I'm a huge Tom Hardy fan and he makes this show worth watching. I hope there will be a second season.

Recd dvd expertly .... so, glad to have this film/ tv series.... Tom hardy never ceases to amaze w his talent--- all characters perfect... storyline fascinating and NOT for viewers easily shocked by real life un Hollywood entertainment. ...

Buy the version "Made in USA."
It's a very good movie, but whoever copied this particular dvd did a lousy job.
