Jennifer Garner stars in this television series as Sydney Bristow, a 26 year-old graduate student working for a secret division of the CIA. The mission of this arm of the CIA is to combat SD-6, a secret terrorist organization whose agents believe that they, in fact, work for a secret organization of the CIA that combats terrorism. This second season of the series introduces a host of new plot twists including a new romance for Sydney and the appearance of a woman who may be Sydney's mother. Pleasant Suprise
Not being a frequent TV viewer, I hadn't heard of this show until now, ten years after it went off the air. After seeing some great comments (and no bad ones) by past viewers, I decided to take a chance. After viewing the first season, I was so impressed, I purchased the rest. Although the show itself rates FIVE stars, it's possible that Season 2 has a faulty disc. Admittedly my purchases were of used products, but when one disc totally failed, I purchased a different Season 2 DVD. On the second one (from a totally different seller) the faulty disc did play, but only 3 of the 4 shows on the disc. Coincidence? great series

What's not to like about Jennifer Garner.

Alias is very entertaining
Kept us in suspense, this must be the idea for the relatively current, "Covert Affair". Jennifer Garner is entertaining. The only criticism that I might have would be the female character is not realistic. It is hard to believe any woman of her stature would win out in the fight scenes.
