This ARP Cylinder Kit is designed to handle head gasket failures in engines. The studs have impressive strength that provide the necessary force to keep cylinder heads from lifting due to pressure. The threads are rolled after heat-treat to maximize strength and the point nuts in the kit are finished with black oxide to make them more durable. They have broached ends to simplify installation.
