Items that cost $18 to ship from one two states over can easily double in cost when shipped across the country. I am in Oregon, the buyer is in NY. This was a cross country shipment, so the cost was greater. Had buyer been a state or two away, I could have shipped 3 speakers for around $18 as well. Beyond setting the package weight, service options, and size of the box it ships in, I have no control over how much it costs to ship.
