    Buying this brand new power supply should put your troubles at ease, in which it remains reliable for 3 out of 4 of my units. The 4th unit I have does not like to boot with the new power supply, it will always boot with the original power supply it came with. I am not the one producing the circuit design, but it either might have to do with too little current or too much noise unfiltered, as voltages appear to be in check. For the price it looks good, but it could function just a bit better.

    I bought two of these Commodore 64 Power Supplies, in case I had any problems with one of them (if one didn't work or something). I tried each of them, and they both work perfectly! I really like the design and look of this power supply. The cord length seems to be well thought out and long enough. Having the on/off switch on the power supply is an excellent idea as well! I am using the PSU switch to turn the computer on and off. This is the only type of PSU I think will ever buy for my C64!

    I bought two of these Commodore 64 Power Supplies, in case I had any problems with one of them (if one didn't work or something). I tried each of them, and they both work perfectly! I really like the design and look of this power supply. The cord length seems to be well thought out and long enough. Having the on/off switch on the power supply is an excellent idea as well! I am using the PSU switch to turn the computer on and off. This is the only type of PSU I think will ever buy for my C64!

    Guardian Angel for your C64

    Grabbed a C64 from a local yard sale and used the original power supply. Nothing! Found out through research that these power supplies go bad with age and are actually dangerous to your beloved C64. Bought this aftermarket replacement and the computer came to life back from the dead. Thanks so much! I'd recommend anyone to buy this and I know my precious C64 and its chips are safe.

    A Better C64 Power Supply

    This is a professional, well made power supply for the C64. It provides more current capacity than the original, is smaller and lighter, and runs cooler. I've only been using it for a short time, but so far I am very pleased.

    New PSU with on/off switch adds piece on mind using vintage hardware.

    Works greats, prefer to use the on off switch on the PSU than having to use the aged on/off on my C64. First modern piece of equipment bought once I obtained my vintage system.
