New lease of life!!
My beloved DC14 stopped picking up dirt. I was gutted as this had been the proverbial 'Triggers brush' of vacuum cleaners (only fools and horses fans will understand!). I have successfully replaced filters, hoses, brushes on a number of occasions. On close inspection the main clutch belt had worn and snapped. I've had a look at new Dyson models and have been very disappointed as they are cheap and plastic. My partner looked on YouTube and an American/Canadian gave us full instructions how to remove the broken one and replace it with a new one. We ordered the complete clutch assembly and, again, following the instructions I fitted it into my Dyson. It was a little bit fiddley and it took the skin off my thumb and knuckles, but it was well worth the struggle! It is now working perfectly, in fact it seems better than before (probably because I gave everything a good wash whilst waiting for the clutch assembly to arrive). It just shows that in this 'throw away society' some thing's are worth repairing and can be done quite easily!! First class product and well worth the money!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Rejuvenated old Dyson now like new
Excellent value & quickly despatched, YouTube shows how easy to fit, i had only one belt broken but at this price it would not make sense to replace both of them, and, with a new clutch included it was a no brainer to do the lot in one, just one awkward hex screw deep inside needs correct screwdriver or allen key type star torx type tool & the rest is easyBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Quality product at fair price.

Repair to an old dyson.

fitting requires perseverance
Awkward to fit but do-able. Lot of levering to fit belts but once you get knack you wonder why you were straining to start with. Unit worked a treat. No complaints. Be sure to pull old unit directly upwards when removing old unit as plastic location pegs can become damaged or broken. Recommend watching some how to videos on internet. Dyson DC07 Clutch assembly
Unit comes with both belts fitted which is ideal as dismantling the actual clutch mechanism itself is very tricky especially if you have sausage fingers, like me. I "Googled" how to fit the assembly which proved quite straight forward if you take your time. Dyson clutch repair kit
Wow how many expensive hoovers have been replaced for the sake of a few pounds, credit to Dyson that you can actually get parts and with the most basic of tools repair in our case a 9yr old machine, it took including watching a YouTube video just 30 mins and is now as good as new, excellent.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

A good purchase.
I am very happy with this product. It was a little difficult to fit because of the tightness of the new belts but well worth the extra effort.
