    Excellent, well thought out kit!

    Perfect kit for bringing our old Kenwood Chef back to life. The instructions provided are a bonus, and made it much simpler to install the kit. The provided components fit the various positions on the PCB board well, though you may need to carefully bend some of the pins to align with the holes. High quality components have been used throughout, and it clear that thought went into the sourcing of these parts, as they replace only those parts that are likely to fail (by the way, make sure to clean out the machine thoroughly as there's a lot of carbon dust due to the brushes wearing). Once fitted, I fired up the Kenwood, and it worked beautifully! Well worth it, and I highly recommend this kit.

    KM2000 repair kit not for absolute beginners.

    The kit is pretty simple but the thing about it is you have to know what it is that needs replacing. I am alright with the soldering and desoldering part but the parts are a mystery to me so having them sent and the instructions provided to replace them was what I needed. The resistor on my board had disintegrated completely so no way I would have found out what it was rated at. Removing the old components and cleaning up with solder wick is probably the hardest part of the job after dismantling the Kenwood and this machine had another problem as the power lead had broken inside the insulation causing intermittent cut outs but that came to light after and was easier to fix. It fixed our machine which would otherwise have been in a skip and we do love the old Kenwood for bread and pasta ...

    Well worth the money.

    New brushes fitted following the instructions provided on line. A bit fiddly but I have small hands so no problem. My 38 year old Kenwood Chef De Luxe is now working well and will hopefully keep going a few more years.

    It does the job.

    Repair kit works well, but soldering skills are required. Also take note of the position of the spring screws; don't over tighten them. Note the plastic pin has to be inserted carefully in the on off switch.

    Cracking kit for not much money

    This kit is absolutely perfect, not only resolving the problem but giving you new brushes and feet too. If it lasts another 42 years it’ll long see me out! Instructions are clear and concise, and anyone with basic soldering skills can repair their machine cheaply and professionally…..Superb
