Comfortable fit
Had to replace my cracked HH and looked at number of makes but returned to a Bullard as it has the most comfortable suspension system. Quite a few other hats had sharp edges on the ratchet adjuster mechanism or plastic on the head band. This hat has a terry cloth sweat band and smooth trim on the ratchet adjuster. With the six point suspension and ratchet it balances very well and doesn't fall off easily

Sizing awareness
As with most dry tops the sizing runs smaller by about one size. If you layer for cold conditions you especially have to up-size.
Neck and wrist latex gaskets. The neck gasket is not over-tight as some other markers jackets use a one size fits all.
