Sticking Belt Resolved

I ordered this for a Raymarine ST4000 Wheel Autohelm. I had problems with a different replacement belt as it was too rubbery and the wheel would not release even with the clutch fully backed off. The original belt has a nylon consistency so is not naturally grippy. This new belt was still a little rubbery / sticky but I managed to resolve this by cleaning the drive ring and new belt with furniture polish which is slightly waxy so this reduced the rubbery feel. Now it works perfectly which is great.
