Perfect
Works excellent, better than FM transmitter better quality. This device has stereo head so you get full stereo, make sure the one you buy has stereo head if you look for other brands. Some have mono heads
All of this model are stereo and have stereo heads.

Outstanding Transmitter
6 von 6 finden das hilfreich Over a period of several years, I have purchased a lot of small AM and FM stereo transmitters. I have purchased just about all of them you may find on eBay. I love this stuff! I bought this model and found to be as advertised except for the power output, which I measured at 80 Mw flat across the band. This is still very good since most of this type of transmitter will only produce about 20Mw.
I did purchase three of these and they all produce the same amount of power which demonstrates a good consistency in manufacturing. I mount these in aluminum boxes.
I do alter the input and power connections, add a volume control and RF output jack. I remove the line input connector on the board and hard wire in the connections using shielded cable, to a jack on the aluminum box. I also remove the power connector and install ferrite devices in line on power and audio in, so RF would be rejected trying to enter the transmitter from those points.
The board will function on both the high and low transmitter frequencies without a problem. Some of these BH 1417f oscillators have a hard time oscillating on the low end of the band. If this should occur, all one has to do is add some inductance to the oscillator coil and your good to go. This board functions perfectly without that modification. Audio quality is excellent and separation is right there where it should be.
This is a well designed transmitter board and if you’re into these sorts of projects, I would recommend buying more than one. The nice thing about the BH 1417F is that I have found it much quieter than the 1415, and reason for that is you don’t generate a lot of extra noise when you don’t have to use a frequency controller. Of course the 1415 will go full band so that is important also, and not all 1415 transmitters will add some odd buzzes or noise, all depends on how the transmitter is designed. Just stating without the extras, transmitters using the 1417F have a lower noise level as a general rule. The only thing I did change on the board is I reduced the amount of attenuation on the line input so I can have a greater audio sensitive to the BH1417 chip.
I use line level inputs from standard stereo gear and don’t drive these from an MP3 player running at full volume. I like more head room than what is normally designed into most of these transmitter boards. I left the pre emphasis at 50 micro seconds, although it can easily be changed if you can do SMD work. I have changed some pre emphasis circuits on similar boards and yes you can tell the difference, but it’s a personal preference and also depends on how the board sounds after you get it running prior to any modifications. It may well be that with tolerances in the parts that you may get one which sounds just fine and will not need any modification. So this is an excellent value, I highly recommend it to any hobbyist.

Passive device not an amplifier
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich No amplifier inside the canister, only two inductors - I guess add inductance to the antenna which did not do anything for AM or FM performance. The wire to power does not connect to anything inside the canister.
