The Pinhoe Egg
I bought this book specifically because it is another CHRESTOMANCI series book, and my family adores that series to distraction.
Diana Wynne Jones spins tales with an adeptness for weaving magic while telling a story and her characters are so well created they practically breathe and step off of the pages into your home. Her Chrestomanci series is one that enthralls and is spellbinding, but deliciously amusing while making you breathe harder and more anxiously now and then as you read. She is a first rate author whose Chrestomanci books rival Harry Potter's adventures. I especially liked her book, THE LIVES OF CHRISTOPHER CHANT which began our family's foray into her magical Chrestomanci worlds.

Amici DEFINED
I heard this in the background during a phonecall and instantly demanded to know what I was hearing, because I knew I could not live without it.
This is what beautiful music is all about! It's soaring, swelling melodies filled my soul and actually brought tears forth, sometimes, it is so uplifting and incredible. Amici group members have combined some of the most beautiful music ever written into this album and it is so good that I actually have bought one copy for my home listening and still another one for listening to in the car.
