I was able to get the coil installed, bu...
I was able to get the coil installed, but it was difficult due to the mounting holes being too close together. I had to file the mounting holes to get the mounting bolts installed. This presumably resulted in the coil pole pieces rubbing the flywheel magnets, so I then had to file the laminations down at the high spots as determined by marking the pole pieces with a Sharpie pen and trying the flywheel. Engine ran OK, but I hope that I don't have trouble in the future.
