Poppy swore, "Just one more kit,
I'll build it slow, enjoy each bit."
But as the sprues began to gleam,
It turned into a plastic dream.
Stacks of boxes, towers high,
Models reaching for the sky.
Jets and tanks, a tiny fleet,
Victory scenes not yet complete.
Glue and paint upon the desk,
Colors bold, details grotesque.
Tiny soldiers, ships at sail,
Poppy’s hooked beyond the pale.
Midnight oil burns so bright,
Poppy builds through every night.
Chasing thrills in plastic parts,
Each new kit a work of art.
Friends all ask, "Poppy, why?"
With a crafty, twinkling eye:
"It’s not addiction, can’t you see?
It’s pure creative ecstasy!"

Water, water everywhere!
Great little boat kit, I added some lines and coils of rope. Using in a diorama with some really nice resin pirate figures in rowing positions. Check out the pic! Neil25559
