Worth the money
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Works without problems, lets you connect everything through one USB-C port, especially good for newer laptops and tablets that only have one USB port.

Great low-cost RAID enclosure
Well built, very simple install & setup, very fast disk initialization (3 minutes for a 4x3GB array). It was so fast, I decided to check RAID 5 to be sure it was working. I powered down (I don’t think it’s hot-swappable), pulled a drive, powered up, files were still readable. Put drive back in and it automatically started rebuilding. Completed without problem (took several hours, but that’s normal for RAID 5). I bought a MUCH more expensive NAS earlier when the MediaSonic would have been a better choice. Transfer speed is about the same as the NAS and streaming is no problem.
For an entry-level RAID enclosure, this is a great machine, and the price and quality make it a winner. It has all the RAID modes - 0 span (JBOD), 0 striping, 1 mirror, 3 striped with dedicated parity, 5 striped with distributed parity, and 10 mirrored and striped, along with single mode. Supports up to 10TB drives.
The case I received was a little different than the pix on eBay or their web site - it’s newer and ‘cleaner’. The ‘Error’ and ‘Rebuild’ lights are a little hard to see unless you look at them head-on but they do work. Quality of construction is good. The only thing I don’t like is that the power connector is on the side instead of the back. Some comments here say the fan is loud but I haven’t noticed that, and even at slow speed moves a lot of air.
In short, I like this enclosure so far. I’ll update this review if I find problems later.

A bargain
50 batteries for a VERY low price, shipped quickly, work great. I use them in my red-dot sights.
