3.8" Maxx Chevron tires, SS chrome wheels
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I am completely impressed with the durability of these wheels for them being plastic. The glue job is impeccable on them and a good test to try when you get them is to plug the two inner rim holes up and squeeze the tire to find out if any air escapes. I keep those holes plugged by habit anyhow in order to keep dirt and water out of the foam inside the tire. An added benefit of plugging those inner rim holes also is the tires actually perform like an actual inflated tire and protect the rim as well from bottoming out against whatever terrain you're running on.
A set of these tires usually lasts a good year as long as you stay off the pavement and even longer if you plug the holes as I suggested. I've never cracked one of these rims, and I jump my E-Maxx as often as I can find something to catch air off of. I'm not saying they are indestructible; but good common sense and moderate bashing has yielded great results with this tire/rim setup.

Hitec Power Peak D7 400W Charger.
Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with this charger and cannot find any negatives that would discourage me from buying it again or having it serviced. It is solid and built extremely precise. A lot of engineering went into the design and the outer case itself explains how engineers and designers went the extra miles to make it attractive and functional as well as ergonomically sound.
The fans are quiet and the unit is fast when balance charging your LiPo batteries if the battery manufacturer has given the go-ahead to charge at 2C or above.
I personally like the backlit screens and options as far as personalized settings that can be adjusted. The charger is pretty straightforward and easy to navigate once you read the provided detailed manual if you are unfamiliar with these types of chargers. If you are familiar with these types of high-end chargers, then you will no doubt be considering this charger a plug-n-play model and the rest is just fun time running your RC's and charging the next set of batteries while you're depleting the ones you just charged.
The charger balance charges a set of 7.4 volt 7200 mah SMC batteries at 2C (14.4 amps) in about 32 minutes and my run times are longer than that, so my second set of batteries are essentially done charging before I've depleted my first set to LVC.
Although this may not be the most powerful charger on the market, it should be noted that this charger is still pretty darn powerful and would be more than sufficient for most RC enthusiasts.

Better craftsmanship than I was expecting!
Firstly, I thought that these skid plates would cause an unstable condition while jumping the E-Maxx. I was completely surprised to find that the E-Maxx landed squarely on all four tires as if I were using the stock plastic ones. Secondly, I was completely shocked to find that all ten screw holes on the front skid plate lined up perfectly as well as the eight screw holes on the rear skid as well.
Thirdly, I would like to mention the fact that it was nice to receive the added hardware screws with the plates, because after putting in and taking out the original stock allen screws so many times....well anyone in the hobby knows that the heads tend to strip or are worn off from skidding on the ground because the plastic skids allow contact of the screws after a couple of good runs.
