Not actually for training
This is advertised as a training sword, but it is not a single piece of wood, which makes it fragile and not useful for actual training. Too much impact is going to knock the blade off of the hilt.

Good latch, wrong screws
The screws that came with this latch were too large for the latch, sticking out when they were installed and interfering with the function of the latch. Once I replaced the screws, the latch worked great.
