One for the ideas section of the sewers' armoury for its techniques,
.I had this book over thirty years ago when it was first published and it's still as useful. It might not be up there with fashionable patterns (was it ever?) but the range of items - handbags, mocassins, wrap over skirts, jackets - are still useful for today's sewer to make.
You'll learn basic pattern making too, and as the clothes are simple they can be easily adapted.
