Ozzfest 2002 Live Album by Various Artists (CD, 2002) NEW!!!

A footnote in metal/rock history

Ozzfest was amazing. I loved all the majority of bands that were featured on each tour. Some earned a boost in popularity while others sadly didn't last afterwards. 2002 was an awesome footnote not just in Ozzfest history, but in metal/rock history as well. All of the bands featured were great, bands not featured: Chevelle, Switched, Otep, Mushroomhead, The Used, Glassjaw, and Neurotica. Note that this was the tour where Drowning Pool frontman Dave Williams passed away. This release in a way is a fitting tribute. Every track is worth listening to, but easily the stand-out is Ozzy's rendition of War Pigs featuring Zakk Wylde in top form. You're not gonna find this on digital retailers. Get the CD.
