Lotsa bang for the buck.

These really are the sweet spot between massive performance and affordability. Very high quality hardware with excellent performance all for less money than even the lousiest new PCs. If you need a solid workstation that can handle a heavy workload but don't need the latest and greatest in every aspect this is worth consideration. DELL precision workstations are somewhat limited in upgrade options but for the price you already have a very solid platform. This particular system though has four x16 PCIe slots! Though two are wired 8x. Two are 16x and provide 75W, are spaced two slots apart to accommodate more than one double a lot cards. Point is there are many slots and options for add on cards. There are 6 rear USB ports, two front USB ports, eSATA and FireWire on some systems. The machine is nearly silent even under heavy load but also very cool with excellent airflow with the two massive front intake fans. There are spots for two additional (exhaust) fans on the rear but only one header to power them on the MLB.

Everything I want in a tablet and then some.

Bright high quality screen. Excellent touch controls and accuracy of touch. Great battery life, though it is slow charging during use. Just the right size, not too big but plenty of screen size with great resolution and excellent accurate touch controls.
