You won't regret it!
Excellent plot, superb acting, authentic production reflecting the erssence of a much-loved book.

Perfect title that captures the nostalgia for better times, now past.
This movie was made 14 years earlier than the BBC version in 1975 which is utterly unforgettable and captures the spirit of the book completely. "Rotten Tomatos" called this movie "claptrap". I wouldn't go so far as that but it is a Hollywood-style, prettied up movie, with stereotyped characters. Disappointing.
