So many uses
I originally wanted this to have a central control of various Christmas decorations. That way I don't have to go around unplugging them. I will probably use it for much more. There are 10 buttons on the remote, and I thought it was "on" and "off" for each device, but it seems either button will turn the unit on or off. That works for me - easier. Very convenient product.

I am so impressed with this remote
It's a little pricey, but this is the best remote control I have used. I bought it to replace a very expensive remote from Universal Remote Control. There aren't too many "closed cabinet" remotes, so this was a great find. If you want the closed cabinet function, beware of sellers that don't include the hub part - that is needed. The remote is easy to program (software walks you through the process), and so simple to use with the touch screen. I thought the limited number of buttons (compare this to a DirecTV remote) would limit the function, but no - everything is there. I'm going to buy another for the family room!
