Inexpensive way to ultrasonically clean records.

Does its job very well. This is a very economical option for someone who wants to ultrasonically clean phonograph records. Instructions are brief, but helpful. it does take a little time to set up. It's not plug and play, but once you get it going it's great. Audiophile grade ultrasonic cleans cost much more than this clever unit. I would advise getting a photo developing thermometer to monitor the water temperature. The water can get quite hot. Used distilled water. I put in 1 cc of Tergitol for the gallon+ distilled water that the tank holds. I believe Tergitol is used by the Library of Congress in their sound preservation dept. Look it up, if you're interested. To clean 4 records, don't use an outside spacer on the 4th record or (at least on mine) the nut that goes on the end of the axle that holds the records in place for cleaning won't fit. I use a temp of about 95F to clean records. improves the sound by about a half a grade on the used record condition scale.
