Phenomenal clarity in the highs, impressive lows

These bookshelves are the best I’ve ever heard. Far more low end then Kefs while having mids and highs that are even better. Only negative is with 86db sensitivity, you need more power to drive them than most amps provide to drive them properly. Ordered an ICE power 1200AS2 based amp to make them sing.

Very high quality cable, but it does take some patience to work with.

The kapton coating is difficult to strip at first, but I found it can be done with some careful patience with a razor blade. This cable is quite stiff, so it is quite different than typical wire. Its feels more like solid core crafting wire or hanger wire than electronics wire. It could cause a rattling sound by bouncing around inside of a speaker if you are not securing the wire properly inside of an enclosure. Not a negative, just something you should be aware of. This can be quite useful if you want to bend the wire into a specific shape though. Worked fantastic as internal wiring for my speaker cabinets / crossovers once I got the hang of working with it.
