cheap and quality at once.
8 von 8 finden das hilfreich so, i bought two SSD, 60GB each.
i didn't expect anything at all, the only thing i hoped - that there would be really 60gb, not as on usual "16GB USB" sticks, that have only 1-2-4 GB in fact.
but when my parcel was received - i was pleasantly surprised.
product is packaged indo stylish black box with logo on it, and inside this box there is another black package, with contents made of foam rubber - excellent for delivery by post.
the drive inside this box is also packaged into antistatic bag.
the SSD itself is made of metal - very lightweight, so i think that it's alluminium.
i disassembled one to stydy contents.
very accurate assembly, everything looks as if it's not a cheapest SSD, but something expensive - both inside and outside electronics.
i have a 60Gb version, go there's 4 chips on plate, but plate itself is designed for maximum of 16.
each memory chip is HYNIX H27QDG8D2B8R (MLC, 128gbit = 16GB)
controller is Silicon Motion SM2246XT (upto 6GB/sec)
according do datasheets, write speed is to be 520-530MB/sec, linear read speed - about 250-300MB/sec.
i run test, so my results are 528MB write and 280MB read.
so, i'm glad, that i bought these SSD. HYNIX flash drives are trustworthy. this price is even lower, than for USB sticks with same size, while speed is much faster.
temperature was cool during 4-hours read-write test.

some info for DIY lovers...
1. neon lamp is not for PCB, it's just for testing.
2. be careful, transistors are not the same.
3. isolated cable can make one turn around coil, not just a straight line as on picture.
4. coil cable is good isolated, don't forget to erase (with lighter, probably) isolation before soldering (i thought, it would be burnt on soldering - but it didn't).
5. be careful, transistors are very hot while working.
6. don't try to use FM radio as a sound source - tesla coil will mute radio near it.
7. tesla coil is to be connected only by one terminal.
8. another terminal of tesla coil is to be raised straight up for better spark effect.
9. be careful with sparks of this terminal - paper can be burnt if it touches it.
sound is not too loud and sound quality is poor - but the effect of "talking sparks" is interesting.

forever classic
if you're tired of everyday charging your android phone...
used (for years) phone. and it's screen still haven't any scratches (even it is not a gorilla glass). and it's battery is still enough for ~10 days of non-frequent calls (with quarter of nowadays common capacity). and it has bluetooth, compatible with both handsfree and car kit (it was released in 2001).
of cause, this phone is not for gaming or surfing.
but it's for calls. while your android phones are not.
and one more: this phone is the most ergonomic i ever see. everything - menus, design, screen, and keyboard. smartphones look like "a brick". this one is designed for your hand.
