This item is a very neat and simple solution to a very simple requirement.

The Spear & Jackson 1/2-inch Male Brass Hose Connector is a great idea and very good quality too.
The Spear & Jackson 1/2-inch Male Brass Hose Connector is the only Hozelock type male hose connector that I could find.
Usually you would have to buy a Female Hose Connector and a Male/Male Adaptor to achieve a male connector on the end of a hose, but the Spear & Jackson 1/2-inch Male Brass Hose Connector does it all in one.
I thoroughly recommend this product from Spear & Jackson.
