Markings rubbed off the control knob alm...
Markings rubbed off the control knob almost immediately (fixed this myself) and the metal around the knob gets hot, making it easy to burn your fingers when adjusting the temperature during cooking. Other than that it seems to work fine, but the design could have been better thought through.

Poor design and construction
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This seat looked okay at first (which is why I gave positive feedback), but after a short time it proved to be of fundamentally poor design and construction on two counts:
1. One of the threaded collars into which the castors fit sank too deep into it's hole, which made the castors uneven and the chair wobbly. Fixing this required me to remove all the castors, fit repair washers between them and their collars to stop them sinking again, and re-glue two of them to stop them from falling out.
2. It became apparent that two of the holes for castors are drilled at such an angle that, when the chair is adjusted to be fairly high (which is how I need it), the castors are so far from vertical that they don't swivel properly, making the chair awkward to move around when sitting on it. I don't see that any cure for this is possible since drilling any more holes in the bottom bar of the seat would fatally weaken it. I've had a similar chair made of steel tube before now which didn't have this problem (it had other problems...), so there is obviously an angle for these holes that works over a useful range of adjustment.
Overall I was very disappointed with this product and couldn't honestly recommend it to anyone else. I am managing to use it for the moment but I'm already looking at alternatives, which doesn't speak well for a £40 product bought only a few weeks ago.
