"Outstanding imagination, creativity, and production value––profoundly absorbing"
Have played the first two discs, and both played fine except for a little trouble with momentary freezing and resuming with a possible skipping of a frame or two toward the end of Disc One in the last two or three episodes. I played all of Disc Two to see if the problem is consistent, and no sign of it showed up. I am assuming and hoping that the remainder of the set is flawless, and the first disc was simply a one time manufacturing oddity.
I was familiar with this landmark television series from the late 50s/early 60s, having watched most episodes when they first aired as young boy. First rate material in all aspects. One of the very finest of network television programming EVER.
