Atlas Trainman Locomotives are a benchmark for smooth reliable operation

Rugged, durable, yet with the Atlas premium drive system of 5 pole motor, dual flywheels, and smooth quiet operation. Not detailed like some of the fancy ones, but the insides are the same. Converts from DC to DCC in seconds.

Nicer than I expected

Much better detail than I expected at this price level. This one was used, yet looked like new, and needed only minor attention to run beautifully... and it does run beautifully. Quiet drive, quite heavy for it's size. Very pleased with the Spectrum line.
