Cool pickguard

Really cool, unique pickguard. I really like the humbucker/single coil pickup configuration (HS- as opposed to the more common HSS or SSS). Great quality, unbeatable price.

The PO-14

For the price, this thing is impossible to beat. It is pretty simple to use and has a surprising number of features & effects. Chaining multiple patterns together, in different order & how many times each pattern repeats is easy & intuitive. The bass sounds are really good and fun to tweak & experiment with. I got it to use along with my Korg Volca Drum and Korg Monologue. For the days when I just want to jam with a fun & easy work flow. I like that I can sync it with other midi gear as long as I run it through the Volca or Monologue. I can turn down the volume on the Korg stuff if I just wanted to hear the PO-14 with my MPC 1000 for example. It would be nice if it had midi breakout cables & could be controlled externally with a keyboard or sequencer, like the UNO Synth or the Novation Circuit, but those cost A LOT more & for $49.00 the PO-14 is a steal. It’s fun and inspiring. You can get really cool sounds once you use effects and motion sequencing/parameter locking. This is my first Pocket Operator, but I’m sure it won’t be my last! The only question now is which one to get next...?
