Love it! Give it a try!
Great update to the original. To those reviewers that gave it a bad score, shame on you. Most reviewers cited the frustrating controls. That shows they did not take the time to learn it. To those reviewers that gave it a good score (Gametrailers) You were spot on. I have come to trust the reviews of Gametrailers more than anyone elses. Give this game the time it deserves. Once you become familiar with the controls, you'll be soaring from building to building. Excellent!!!

Not as innovative as advertised
1 von 3 finden das hilfreich The premise of a game that changes with your decisions was what drew me in to buy this acclaimed title. However, the only major changes to the story occur if you make too many mistakes and one of the main characters dies. I was kind of hoping major story changes like in Blade Runner for the PC. In Blade Runner everytime you play it, it's a different story. In one occasion I ended up discovering that I the player was a replicant. On another playthrough I was accused for murdering a human whom I mistook for a replicant and I was hunted down by the police. Now that is dynamic story changing! On heavy rain, no matter what changes you try to make to the story or even if you allow one of the main characters to die, the killer always ends up being the same person. The advertisement for this game said that "you influence the story" It should have said "You can change the story a little, but the outcome is going to be almost the same" Because of this and my previous experience with other games that have dynamic story changes I cannot give this game a good score. But if you are looking for good graphics, I've have never seen graphics like this in my life, even full nudity models that like as real as can be. The people move and feel real. The environment and the music is top notch. Excellent voice acting too. This game can be summed up as eye candy with a good story! But it does not warrant multiple playthroughs. A good weekend rental maybe. I sold it back after 3 playthroughs and I did all kinds of wrongs to shift the story and the ending but it didn't work. I hope this review helps someone to avoid paying full retail price for this "movie".
