Good value for a beginner/amateur

Samsung NX300 with 18-55mm Kit Lense This is a great quality bit of kit for someone starting out in Photography. At 10 years old and only a 20mp camera which is low for todays standards (compared to my phone which is 48mp), the APS-C sensor accompanied with a good quality lense is so much better at picking up details and producing beautiful photographs (suitable for A1 size printing); with excellent focus assist and apeture control when used with a Samsung NX lense. Its small size (due to being mirrorless) is handy for a smaller case. It has an NX mount, so lense choice is limited if you want all the full controls, but if you like to go manual with zoom focus, an adaptor can be had to allow any lense to be fitted, just make sure the lense is full frame so avoid picture being cropped. If you want a mirroeless with more choice, then a Sony A6000 would have been my alternative choice.
