Awesome cookbook for you "dessert-a-holics!" Don't miss this one!
This is a rather incredible cookbook, if you like desserts as much as I do! Taste of Home is a phenomenal source for good recipes, and this one is no exception. If you can find one, I highly recommend its purchase. You won't be sorry!

Very Versatile Hackamore
I like this hackamore very much! It is very well made. It has a feature that allows you to hook an additional rein above the usual curb rein. This rein can be used to just give additional control using the nose band alone, or in conjunction with the curb rein. The down side is that is has a flexible cord to stabilize the lower loops of the bit. it allows the bit shanks to lose position easily when you pull back. I have rectified this by adding a sturdy wire where the flexible cable is and it works great. (otherwise I probably would have given it 5 stars!) The only other thing you need to know is that it is quite large, which was exactly what I was looking for, for my 16+ hand mules. While the curb chain is very adjustable, the circumference is still a little oversized. I really like this hackamore and bought a second one from the same seller. It can be used just as it is, or with a fleece nose band (which is what I did, to cushion the pressure a little.) One could also put a rubber tubing over it, if you want to make it a softer contact to the nose.

Simple and Delicious is SIMPLY DELICIOUS!!!
If you find this cookbook, do yourself a favor and pick it up! I bought one for myself, and my sister breezed through it and said, "Can you get me one, too?? Hence I shopped for this one and now we are both happy cooks.
If you can get one for yourself, I highly recommend that you do so. You won't be sorry. I LOVE most of the Taste of Home series, and this one is yummy on every page!
