In bad taste --- but hilarious!
If you are easily offended, don't watch THAT'S MY BOY --- or pretty much anything that stars Adam Sandler. Even for fans of raunchy humor, this film is over the top, joking about subjects that are no laughing matter (teacher-student sex; incest). Not for kids, since there is explicit sex, naked female breasts, and naked butts of both genders. The characters are uptight and unhappy unless they are getting drunk and having promiscuous sex, which is probably not the message you want to give to your kids. That said, have you ever watched a movie that made you laugh out loud even though you knew it was in bad taste, and even though you felt guilty afterwards? A another cornball comedy home-run for Sandler
After seeing this last summer at the local drive-in, I loved it and knew that I had to add it to my ever growing Sandler collection. I think that Vanilla Ice really stole show with his comedy though. After watching it the first time I couldn't stop laughing and found myself quoting the lines. It's just a corny movie that has Adam Sandler as a middle school boy that knocked up his teacher and Andy Samberg as the love child that is just trying to get by in the world without the shame that his father provided, but really found out that he and Sandler are one and the same. Though rough around the edges, Sandler really does mean well and really wasn't ready for the responsibilities that fatherhood had thrust upon him and the fact he really hadn't grown up at all. Classic Sandler at his funniest!
Classic Adam Sandler. If you are a fan of Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and Little Nicky, then you owe it to yourself to add this diddy to your DVD collection.
On a side note: I am a background extra in this film about 10-15 minutes in, when Sandler's character goes to The Randall Morgan Show to get the money he needs. I still have one of the coffee mugs from the set...lol.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Not “gently used”, barely could get my dvd player to accept it to be able to watch it. I guess you get what you pay for. Shame on me.
