Simple device for expanding your broadband router
This little box (the footprint is only 3.5 x 5 inches) does the trick when you need more ethernet ports to connect to your router. I didn't even know this kind of simple solution existed -- I thought I was going to need to buy a new router with more ports. Instead, I just connected this box (with a basic ethernet patch cord) to my router, plugged it in to a power source (in my case, I'm using my UPS box to ensure surge protection), and instantly I had four more ports. It does not come with any ethernet cables, however, so you will need at least one to connect to your router. (I'm sure any ethernet cable will do, but I'm using a cat 6 shielded cable to be sure there no interference with any other devices.)Vollständige Rezension lesen

Perfect for network
This is my second TP-Link 5 port gig switch. The latest was daisy chained to the existing one. We have it connected to an PS4, Samsung OLED Smart TV, Xbox One X and PC. Good network switch
This Network switch came in its original box with the power supply, it is working fine right now, it appears to be of good quality, doesn't get hot or anything, just plug your network cable and you're good to go, I think it is a good value.Vollständige Rezension lesen

If you need a inexpensive but apparently well-made 5 port switch I would recommend the TP-Link.

I needed more ports and while there no set up instructions I googled it and found that it was super easy and super fast to install. Low profile takes up little room and discreet. Thanks

Great switch, low price!
Unimpeded bandwidth and the potential for wall-mounting make this an excellent switch/splitter. It replaces an older TPLink product and resetting only required making sure all the wire connections were good and a reset of the router.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Excellent
I used to have a 10/100 switch. My speed was caped because of it. Now with this gigabit switch everything is far better than excellent. Its just plug and play. Very happy with it.

Great hardware for the price
these switches are about the best that I have found at this price point, and they carry a heavy load on my network. I use them in mission critical situations and they never fail me.
