One person's insight to Kerouac's personal life

I read this book with a keen interest due the particular insight of a possible unexplored aspect of Kerouac's personal life. The book was a decent read and I was pretty much glued to the text for about 5 days. Some of the interpretations of Kerouac's writings by Amburn are subjective, meaning Amburn could be on the mark or totally wrong. I really don't understand why some authors choose to do this. The reader can make up their own minds when it comes to the interpretations. This is not an essential book if a person is a fan of Kerouac's books but is a facinating possibility of how he might have been.I liked the book.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Checkout The Scoop On Kerouac's Seedy Sex Life With Subterranean's.

I have read several Kerouac books myself like On The Road which was a cultural phenomena itself. Then Jack himself became a famous phenomena for being himself and more as he was swallowed up by the American fame machine, This book has surely added to that fame I think? I have enjoyed reading it and am almost at the end. It contains some pretty seedy scenes which the writer Ellis Amburn is more than good at. I also have his Buddy Holly biography and read Dark Star his bio on Roy Orbison. I am partly a musician and songwriter myself so I have found all three good reading myself. I did not always agree with Amburn's colorful depiction of Holly however as I knew some of the players in the 1980s and 90s like his Producer. Anyway, back to Jack. The amount of sex scenes in this book on Kerouac, is actually a little comical in my opinion but Amburn's research seems solid here anyway? Find out about Jack's long road yourself by getting Subterranean yourself from ebay.
