Good for those who do not get on with Technology =]
The Nokia 2610 is a solid & compact mobile phone which is very user friendly. The 2610 comes in a choice of three colours which include silver, black & dusty pink. The overall size of this compact & curvaceous phone is 104 x 43 x 18 mm & the handset has a solid feel to it. The phone weighs 92 grams including the battery. The user can have up to 5 hours talk time & 380 hours of standby time on the Nokia 2610. The 2610 is similar to the Nokia 2310 which are both highly useable mobile phones but with differing features.
The clear 65k colour screen provides the user with a good viewing display which provides a 128 x 128 pixel screen resolution. The phone comes with colourful wallpapers, fun screensavers & coloured themed displays which allows the user to bring a personal feel to their new phone.
The Nokia 2610 comes with polyphonic ringtones & the user can also use voice clips as ringtones. The voice clips ringtone feature can bring some fun to this phone with rather funny & lively voice clips being played each time an incoming call comes in. The user can record their voice with the voice recorder feature which is easy to use. The phone comes with AMR audio which provides a clear sound quality. The user can enjoy a USSD & cell broadcast on their Nokia 2610.
The user can sit back & relax to a quick game of coin flipping on their mobile phone. The user can easily download more games to suit their gaming needs. The phone comes with a phone book which can store up to three hundred contacts at any one time. The built in power organiser feature is capable of keeping the user one hundred percent organised at all times. The user can use the expense manager feature to stay within their weekly or monthly budget. The 2610 comes with a converter, alarm clock & built in calculator feature.
The user can enjoy having a conversation without holding the handset with the use of the handsfree speaker feature. The conversation can take place over the built in speakers & by using the integrated microphone which provides the user with a handsfree call experience.
The Nokia 2610 comes with quick & simple messaging including text messaging & multimedia messaging. The text message can contain text input & be sent to any SMS compatible mobile phone. The multimedia message can include text with sound & an image which can be sent to any MMS compatible mobile phone. The user can have fun sending a Nokia xpress audio message to their friends & family which allows the user to express their feeling with the use of audio sound.
The Nokia 2610 works on a dual band network & the phone can automatically switch between the two bands. The user can easily access the WAP browser with the use of the easy access Internet key. The user can access information regarding news, weather & their email account using the WAP browser.
So if you want a simple Phone then this is the one for you =]

Nokia 2610 - a basic mobile phone
The Nokia 2610
It is a very stylish product to look at, and no-one would guess its very cheap price, until they started to use it. It has no camera, no bluetooth, little memory, and to be honest very few functions. It has none of Nokias usual gizmos like an FM-radio or a MP3 player. But for making and recieving calls, it works very well.
I bought one as I travel frequently between countries, and am tied to a network in the U.K. but also use foreign sim-cards. So as a second phone it is perfect.
Points to note; unlocking one of these can be tricky, you probably want to get your network provider to do it. Most market stalls can't do it. Also, the screen is great indoors, or at night, but in bright sunlight it's hard to read. Lastly, the texting process can be a bit fiddly. Nokia provides you with pre-installed smileys, but if you just want to go :) it is quite a hard process, and can slow down texting a lot.

good basic handset
I was pleased with the build quality for the price, has all the basic functions, The screen is of a good size for the average user, however the handset has a big issue, this is no fault this is just a feature removed by Nokia - which is back-light brightness control - so the screen is dim, all the time and there is no way of changing it so please be aware if you like a bright screen this is not for you and many similar handsets from nokia are the same! check each model first some do some don't.

Nokia 2610 mobile phone
I bought this fairly basic mobile phone as I simply needed a phone capable of making and receiving calls and texts and had read a favourable review in Which. It has numerous features that I will not even bother to try but as a simple phone it is easy to use (although it requires more key pressing to make calls and send texts than earlier Nokia phones). The screen is large and clear (except in bright light) with the inevitable result that the keys are a trifle small making key operation tricky for those with larger than average thumbs.

I'm the type of person who wants to make a few calls, lots of text messages and play a couple of games before I go to bed at night and wake up to a good loud alarm. This phone covers all those bases, also there is an organiser, budget planner, calculator, internet access. I am a fan of Nokia phones they are easy to use and compact and the have a timer on for when i go out running, I'm sure this model does so much more than what I am going to use it for and because it is not the most up to date model you call get one second hand fairly cheap.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Nokia 2610 Very disappointing
Looked good online with colour screen and polyphonic ringtones. Good make with excellent pedigree and uses the same charger as my older Nokias. But the screen is just too shiny for you to be able to see it properly, and all the replacement covers I looked at were just as bad. Also, the buttons to navigate through the menu just aren't as easy to use as my old Nokia, although I have to say the menu is easy to find your way around, and the number buttons are easy to use.
Definitely wouldn't recommend it unless you want a really cheap phone with colour screen and polyphonic ringtones. There must be easier to use phones out there with the same features though.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Easy to use and cheap phone. Good value for money and recommanded by consumer which magazine.this phone has an easy to use keypad. The colour screen is very bright and needs no extra lighting.
