I have used this model phone since it first came out about 5years ago. As I'm an older user (64) my main uses are for phone calls and texting. This phone is perfect for me with its ease of use,clear screen,speakerphone and easy to understand menus. It has a very good memory base and the battery life is also very good. For me there is nothing to dislike about this phone and the reason I have just bought a new one is to replace my old one. Why change when this one has everything I need! Needed handset for incar handsfree kit

Great bit of kit.

So tired of smart phones becoming too smart for their own good. Easily breaking, software crashes & viruses. And the rest.

Made a decision to go back to basics with this phone and single I did. I have my life back!

It has everything I need: reliable long-life battery (charge once a week). Good signal. Actual buttons for typing text (I can type faster on one of these and don't even need to look at the keypad). No more having to read texts for all the typos created by a touch screen. I've inserted a 2gb MMC card which meets my needs perfectly. It has Bluetooth for my hands free kit in the car. A no-brainer really.

The phone is in mint condition and arrived very quickly. I love it so much I bought an additional one as a wear & tear replacement (which I may need in about 20 years time!).Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Tailor made phone for my wife

I purchased this phone for my wife. Her car has a telephone cradle designed specificaly for this model and is therefore ideal, being un-locked as well. Great phone if all you need is talk & text.

Forget your Blackberry or SmartPhone, get back to basics with a bog-standard, does-what-it-says-on-the-tin phone. Great software that is intuitive, no fiddling about to find stuff, the buttons are big enough to type easily with the optional predictive text. Good battery life, I get 7 days out of mine, (but I don't text every 5 mins). Rugged as well - my previous one fell out of my pocket and I trampled it into the garden soil, didn't find it until I'd ordered a new one, but I dug it up, wiped it down and it still worked, even with cracked case!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Good value phone.

Wanted a cheap phone that just text,and makes calls ,with a camera and this phone does just that very well at a bargain price. Battery life not the best (about 4 days in my case) but charges up in about an hour. Great for the price

My husband loves this phone.... straightforward, has all the features he needs. Battery doesn't last overly long for each charge but this hasn't proved to be a real issue. I think that the middle button feels a little cheap but my husband says it's not my phone so why do I care? good point... he is happy with it especially at the price... and he can't bear smartphones..Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Nokia 6230 ==== by Torcroft

This is my third Nokia 6230 mobile phone. It may sound eccentric but I use all three, I keep one on my person at all times, a second in the glove box of my car fo emergency use when out and about and forgotten my phone number one, and lastly the third is kept in its packaging as a spare in my office at home.
They are compact, light, fairly inexpensive, have a good inbuilt camera, easy texting, good recording facilities, easy to use and have a comprehensive applications for my needs.

Nokia 6230 Mobile Phone

Compact, Easy to use, I just wanted a phone on the move, it has up to 5 hrs talk time battery life which is more important to me than any gadget features. It has a 1.3 mp camera that I never use and fm radio that i never use. If I have a disaster and need to replace the phone I always replace it with the same (6230)this is my 3rd one. Good value for money, good delivery.

The phone arrived very quickly. The screen is a little scratched and not clear to view photos. I didn't realise it was an Orange based phone and some standard )2 facilities do not work on this phone. Overall a good purchase.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
