The book tries to argue that the labor migration is a necessary evil at this point time using the theoretical approach of balanced growth theory and substantiate using empirical data. The work also gives highlight to the socio-economic aspects of the labor migrants, the legal frameworks and political will that exists in the point of origin and destination regarding migrant workers. The book has particularly taken female migrants workers for its analysis to study their situation, challenges and achievements.
