A case study method was used in the study because of its relevance in contemporary developmental issues related to environmental rights. The age representation of the e-waste workers revealed a disheartening fact where children age between 5-15 years were used for various work being carried out at the site. The study revealed that lager scale of importation of used electronics and electrical goods in the country was in ascendency. The study found that the conditions endured by the scrap dealers and residents violate their right to a clean and safe environment.
