Barista quality espresso in a highly programmable superautomatic
The Oracle Touch is exactly what I was looking for: Italian barista quality espresso and espresso/milk drinks but with the relative ease of use of a super automatic. I love that the grinder is adjustable and that it automatically tamps into a real 22g portafilter. Moving the portafilter over from the grinder side to the brewing side is the most complicated part of using it, and if you can't do that, this machine isn't for you. The auto milk foaming with different settings for flat whites vs. cafe lattes vs cappuccinos and the ability to adjust the final temperature of the milk works great. Being able to add my own custom espresso drinks to the touchscreen menu is great, and I really like the auto-on feature so it's warmed up before I head down to use it first thing in the morning. Watching the espresso drip out for up to 30 seconds during the brewing process will let you know that you're getting the right extraction. Seeing the crema and then tasting the results are what really counts. And assuming you start with good, fresh, well-roasted espresso beans (not Starburnt), you'll get the right results. Superburb coffee!!
Excellent coffee maker, cappuccino machine, expresso, grinder, all of it!!Had it a month or so and only complaints: The coffee cup space is small Don't let the grounds set too long or they are hard to remove after brewing. Worth Every Cent
After a short learning curve we love the all of the coffee drinks. If you are a regular Starbucks shopper it will pay for itself in a year or two. Oracle touch is exceptional. The best espresso machine on the market.
The Oracle touch is amazing, easy to use, sleek looking. It makes better coffee than I can buy anywhere else! My absolute favorite piece of equipment in the kitchen. It's oracle touch or nothing for me
