Originally released on September 24, 1990, 'Rust in Peace' is one of the most beloved and critically-acclaimed heavy metal records of all time. It brought Megadeth to the attention of a mainstream metal audience and was nominated for 'Best Metal Performance' at the 1991 Grammy awards. It was also the first Megadeth album to feature guitarist Marty Friedman and drummer Nick Menza, a lineup that would remain in place for nearly a decade.

Top album wrapped in quality vinyl
Two main things with this particular record. First the actual recording, Megadeth are not one of my top bands, but having heard this previously on someone else's system I thought this sounds well. For me the best Megadeth album by far. Secondly the record itself, the actual product is perfect the warmth of sound is something that only vinyl can produce. Thrash metal at it's best
An incredible thrash metal album showcasing a high level of technical musicianship and strong songwriting. The album is now considered a classic and for good reason too.
