Stampers dream item.
This stamp press has quality about it from the moment you receive the box. The press itself is sturdy but has good design as you would expect from Tim Holtz and Tonic and they have not disappointed. The size of the press is excellent. The stamping bed is a good 8.5 x 8.5 inches and is open on two sides so you can stamp easily on a 12 x 12 inch piece of card stock or paper. The stamping press has a grid on the see through lid so it easy to line up your stamps. The lid detaches and is turned over when changing from the thinner polymer to thicker rubber stamp without disturbing your card stock. If you haven't got a good stamp the first time just ink up and stamp again right over the first image with no shadowing. Wonderful. The only negative I have to say about it is there is no grid on the base, I have laminated a grid sheet of paper with map references and this means I can note down the reference for a project and go back to recreate it at a later date especially useful if stamping off the page. The base is magnetic and you get two magnets to hold your card stock in place but it is also useful for lining up your thin cutting dies and taping down before going to your die cutter. Overall this stamp press is a great asset to your crafty stash and at the price is the best value and most versatile that I can see on the market today. I would definitely recommend this stamp press, it is far superior in every way to the other more expensive one I had originally purchased.

You need this!
Iv had ago of a few different types of stamping tools. Once you use one you can't go back! With the Tim holts platform you are not limited to size of paper. It's easy to clean with a nice sturdy feel. I would recommend getting a foam sheet to go inside but these are extremely cheap to pick up, just check out any kids crafting sections.

Looks sturdy and well made but didn’t stamp well.
Although the product, bought as an additional stamp platform seems sturdy it misses a large part of the pattern of the stamps. I have tested it on many of my clear stamps and on my other stamp platform, they work fine on it. I suspect that the ridge around the outside of the stamping lid is too high to allow contact with a lot of clear stamps. And yes I was using the right side. All in all very disappointed

Just the best platform..
Haven’t stoppped playing with my platform and it’s brilliant.. batch card making has never been so much fun.. it’s very well made and so easy to clean too.. if you’re thinking about a platform don’t hesitate buy this one, you won’t be disappointed ..

Great product
Very well made and sturdy. You an use it with rubber or clear stamps, just lift the cover and reverse it.

Excellent idea
I wish I had bought this product earlier. Gone are the days when a stamp is not quite straight or the ink is not uniform. It is also particularly useful for those stamp and die sets where the matching up can be quite tricky. It improves the finished card enormously.

I have to say I'm really impressed
I looked at a few different makes of stamp positioners before deciding to buy the Tim Holtz design and I have to say that I'm very pleased with it. Its good value and it does exactly what it says it will. I haven't had much time to use it and find out the different ways to use it. I wish there had been an explanation leaflet with it and I wouldn't have minded another magnet with it but I believe I can buy them separately.

Great accessory
I would recommend this stamping platform to anyone. I had purchased another make but this one is by far superior. It makes stamping easy I have tried stamping with various tools but this beats them hands down.

No more failed stamping for me brilliant stamping platform should have bought this a long time ago perfect stamping every time it’s strong very well made I highly recommend this product to anyone thinking of buying one

A Quality Stamping Platform
A quality, well built product that allows far more accurate stamping than just doing by hand. Is versatile as it can accommodate two different thicknesses of stamp - either Clear or rubber stamps. The platform base is open on two sides so allows for stamping onto media that is larger than the platform itself and the magnets hold the media firmly in place so it does not move when doing multiple stamping.
