Bought as "non-working"processor board
The actual processor installed on this board was a W3520, 2.8 Ghz - not a big deal - the board was bought to upgrade an older Mac Pro 4,1 to a six-core. It appears that the processor was faulty as well as a couple of resistors / caps that have been replaced. Then, after installing a W3670, 3.2 Gz the machine booted fine, with a noticeable speed increase. We decided to use the more economical W3670 because both processors yield Geekbench scores that are very close (both in the 13,000's) to justify the extra expense. Without the help of a friend this would not have been cost-effective. Regardless, this board has allowed me to extend the life of my old Mac Pro indefinitely.Bestätigter Kauf: Ja
