Used this to coat a speed control PCB on a multi tool that I repaired, the failure being caused by iron filings shorting across a 1.5mm gap between two surface mount resistors with mains voltage next to a low control voltage. After replacing the damaged components and cleaning with Isopropyl Alcohol gave the board two coats of this silcone conformal coating, I did find it a bit thinner than I expected, it's more like a varnish consistency than a gel which is why I gave it two coats, the brush is contained in the cap so no brush cleaning to worry about. The coating is crystal clear so a nice touch is that the coating fluoresces under UV light so a UV torch is very useful for seeing that all areas are covered. It drys fairly quickly and can be put back in to service after 24 hours. Since the repair and coating I have had no issues and don't expect any.Vollständige Rezension lesen

I used it to waterproof my racing drone and it works great. you can still solder through it once you've applied it because it just burns off, then you just need to re-apply and you're set. It's UV sensitive so if you have a black-light you can use it to see if you've missed any spots. It's a great product and i'm very happy with it.

Very useful product for keeping moisture out of electronics. Just be aware that it does give off volatile organics.

Great product, I used it for dealing electronic components for my quadcopter... and if there is a need to re-solder no problem it just melts away... so far I've not had the chance to see if it will insulate against moisture, but in regards to everything else I feel safe in case it gets some moisture over exposed areas.

Great temperature range for conformal coating. Most tops out around 80 to 90 degrees. Can be used around very hot components like VRM. Used it to protect transistors around GPU core before applying liquid metal

I bought this to waterproof my freestyle Quadcopter and it now gives me the confidence to fly in all weather.... Easy to apply and contains uv pigment to see where you’ve missed. Highly recommended

Like other buyers i used this to waterproof my quads, along with some corrosion-x for connectors such as usb and cam and vtx molex. Use it in a well ventilated area as it smells fairly strong during curing. A protip is to use a UV-light as it will show if everything is covered during application.

Bought some of this after StingerSwarm did his waterproof video. Excellent job of waterproofing FC's, ESC's, e.t.c. I am finding it quite adictive and have gone through half a bottle ready.
